My Baby is One!

What a year! Our sweet little Aaron has grown so fast and continues to capture our hearts more and more with every passing month. He is truly a gift to our family and we can't imagine life without our littlest dude.

We celebrated his birthday while vacationing with each of his grandparents in BC. He got to have three celebrations! What a lucky boy to have so many people who love him (and lucky parents too to have such a wonderful and supportive family!!)

Here are a few one year old details for Aaron Jeffrey:

• Weighs: 22.1lbs
• Teeth: 6 (four on top, two on the bottom)
• Eats: Everything we eat! So far he likes just about anything and loves to try whatever he sees the rest of us having.
• Aaron says one word so far: "ba" for ball. He also makes a specific sound to tell us when he's thirsty and is starting to say "da da" sometimes when he sees Rob
• He's not walking yet and is a very proficient bum scooter. 
• Just started pulling up to stand against furniture and also starting to enjoy walking around while holding someone's hands
• Has a great sense of humour and loves to make funny faces and noises with his adoring big brothers
• Loves to push cars around the house
• Can colour a little bit with a crayon
• Is starting to figure out a shape sorter
• Wants to be right in on all the action with his brothers
• Is generally a sweet, easygoing guy and pretty easy to please
• Usually sleeps through the night but does like to wake us up at about 5:30 or 6:00am... we'll be working on that over the winter!
