My frustration with potty training reached a peak on Wednesday and I have now broken down and resorted to bribery to regain my son's interest. I've now got gummy bears, stickers and even a special box of prizes for consistent success. So far it's working like a charm! I don't know if this will last for the long run but it's been nice to have a couple of days of cheerfulness and even glee at the prospect of using the potty.
In other news, winter has arrived here in Alberta. There's snow on the ground and a chill in the air. I'm bracing myself for six months of winter coats, hats, scarves, mittens and boots.
Brrrrrrrr!
